Red Light Therapy

What is Red Light Therapy?

Whole Body Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-level red and near-infrared light to promote healing and rejuvenation at the cellular level.

Red and near-infrared light is used to boost cellular energy, enhance tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and improve skin health.

During the therapy, the body is exposed to red light wavelengths, which penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the cells.

This process boosts cellular energy production, enhances circulation, and stimulates collagen and elastin production.

Whole Body Red Light Therapy is known for its benefits in reducing pain and inflammation, accelerating muscle recovery, improving skin health, and enhancing overall wellness.

This therapy offers a safe and effective way to support the body's natural healing processes and improve vitality.

You may wear comfortable clothes if desired.  However, areas being treated should be fully exposed.

How Long is the Session?

10-20 minutes.

How Does It Feel?

RLT is often described as a relaxing and gentle warmth on the skin. It's a comfortable sensation, similar to basking in the sun's rays, but without UV radiation. Some people may also notice a subtle tingling or energizing sensation during the session. Overall, it's a soothing and rejuvenating experience for most individuals.

How Many Sessions for Results?

Start with 3-5 sessions per week then maintain with 2-3 sessions per week.

Do I need eye Protection?

Eye Protection is not necessary but may be used if desired. It is not recommended to look directly into the LEDs.

Do I need to remove creams or lotions before use?

It is best not to use creams and lotions before RLT as it forms a barrier and prevents you from getting the full effect of the therapy.

Is RLT safe to use with prescription medications?

It is best to check with your physician before using RLT if you are taking medications that may cause photosensitivity.

Is RLT safe for children and the elderly?

Clinical studies show RLT is safe and beneficial for everyone, however, if you have concerns, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider. Do not use it on infants.

The Science Behind the Service

Red Light Therapy (RLT) works by using red and near-infrared light to penetrate the skin and stimulate mitochondria, the energy-producing parts of our cells. This boosts cellular energy production, leading to improved cell function, faster healing, reduced inflammation, and increased collagen production, which benefits the skin and other tissues.

By increasing cellular energy (ATP), red light therapy is a powerful option for anyone looking to improve skin health, support muscle recovery, reduce joint discomfort and enhance overall wellness.
